Zanta Hofmeyr graduated from the Julliard School of Music in New York, where she was a student of Dorothy Delay and Hyo Kang.  After her New York debut in Carnegie Recital Hall (now Weill Recital Hall), she returned to South Africa in 1985.  Zanta performs regularly as soloist with symphony orchestras in South Africa and was praised for her performances of the Beethoven, Bruch, and Britten concerti.  In 2018, she and Susan Mouton performed Brahms' Double Concerto at Unisa with the Pretoria Symphony Orchestra.

Zanta performed complete cycles of the Beethoven Sonatas with Malcolm Nay in 1999, as well as with Bulgarian pianist Ilia Radoslavov in 2016.  Together with Radoslavov, the duo toured South Africa and the USA with performances of these works, a project which culminated in a recording of three sonatas.  Other recordings include French violin sonatas with Elna van der Merwe, as well as the album Romantic Violin with longstanding duo partner, Malcolm Nay.  This partnership has seen them perform major works from the violin repertoire.

Formerly associated professor of violin at the University of Pretoria, Zanta currently teaches violin in Johannesburg, and at Wits University.  She often acts as string coach for youth orchestras and has been on the faculty of chamber music festivals in the USA and Stellenbosch.  In 2016 she served as adjudicator at the Rudolfo Lipizer international violin competition in Italy.

Malané Hofmeyr-Burger was born into a musical family.  One of 8 children, Malané, with her family, often performed on stage, singing and playing various instruments.  Malané studied flute with Denise Gardiner, Chippie Yutar and Eva Tamassy.  She completed her studies at the University of Stellenbosch, clinching the ATKV Forte and Oude Meester Competitions in her final year.  Realising a childhood dream, she furthered her studies in Vienna and attended many masterclasses with flautists like Aurele Nicolet, Shigenori Kudo, Marc Grauwels, and William Bennet.
As a soloist, Malané has performed with major South African orchestras.  She is a devoted flute teacher, a keen chamber musician, and a member of various chamber ensembles, enjoying, making and sharing music with family, friends, and colleagues.  Amongst her most cherished performances are the annual outdoor concerts in the Kruger National Park and the De Hoop Nature Reserve with Sunset Serenade, an ensemble of flute, harp, and strings.

Malané is a member of the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra.  She has performed on stages throughout South Africa, including Zambia, Mozambique, Seychelles, Austria, Belgium, Azerbaijan, the UK, and Italy.  She has recorded numerous times for radio, television and CDs.  Her albums, AIR and AFRICAN RONDO (collections of classical compositions and cross-over jazz) were nominated for the South African Music Awards (SAMAs).  Her CDs are collaborated with wonderful colleagues such as Hester Beyers Martin, Susan Mouton, Elna van der Merwe, Wessel van Rensburg and others.  Malané often acts as an adjudicator at National Music competitions and Eisteddfods.  She is a qualified Logo therapist and recently qualified as an Alexander Technique teacher.

Eugene Joubert has established himself as a collaborative pianist of note.  He made his US debut during the Conservatory Project at the Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C. in May 2007.  Notable international performances include those in Denmark, Switzerland, Czechia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Spain.

Locally, Eugene has appeared at the Wakkerstroom Music Festival, Toyota US Woordfees, Vrystaat Klank en Klassik, Aardklop and the St Francis Music Festival.  He also performs for the Lowveld Chamber Music Association, the Mzanzi Chamber Music Collective, and the Stilbaai and George Music Societies.

In 2009, Eugene completed a master's degree in collaborative piano at the Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, Houston, TX.  The Oppenheimer Memorial Trust was a generous financial supporter, along with a full tuition scholarship.  Additionally, Eugene holds degrees from the University of Pretoria, where the medal of the Vice-Chancellor and Principal was awarded to him for exceptional academic achievement.

Having previously held the position of repetiteur at the TUT Vocal Arts Department in Pretoria, Eugene was appointed as the Head of Piano Studies at St Mary's School, Waverley in 2018.
